Everything You Need to Know About the Brooks Falls Bear Viewing Tour 

Availability & Pricing 

The Brooks Falls Bear Viewing Tour is available from June 26-July 31, 2021. This tour $995 per person and includes aircraft transportation to and from Brooks Falls as well as three hours at the Falls’ bear viewing area. 

If you can’t make it during these dates, don’t worry! You can book another one of our bear viewing tours at Katmai National Park or Lake Clark. These options are available from mid-May to early September and start at $695 person including aircraft transportation.  

Bear Viewing Itinerary 

The Brooks Falls Bear Viewing Tour allows you to get an inside look at brown coastal bears (peninsular grizzly bears), black bears, and more in their natural habitat. Here’s a breakdown of what your day tour (approximately six to seven hours long) to Brooks Falls will consist of: 

  • Meet at our office on the morning of your tour for departure. 
  • Board a scenic, 1.5-hour flight from Homer to Brooks Falls. 
  • Spend about three hours in bear habitat at the Brooks Falls platform/station. 
  • Walking distance is one mile to and from the Visitor’s Center to viewing platforms. 
  • Board a scenic, approximate 1.25-hour return flight to Homer.
