Yes! Enjoy guided kayaking from basecamps near Halibut Cove, Tutka Bay, or Petersen Bay, all located in the heart of Kachemak Bay State Park. The central locations have a wealth of diverse paddling routes to choose from. Kachemak Bay is often touted as one of the world’s richest ecosystems and is filled with a diverse cross-section of sea otters, porpoises, fish, and at times whales.

What should I Wear When I go Sea Kayaking?

Always dress warm and always bring protection from the sun! Sunlight reflects off the water, and if you are out for long enough, you will get sunburnt! Put on a layer of sunscreen, bring sunglasses, and make sure to dress in layers of non-cotton material! Cotton easily absorbs water and can put you at risk for hypothermia.
