The Homer Spit Fishing Hole is a great place to cast a line! This area is stocked with king salmon and silver salmon, depending on the season. There’s also a campground nearby where visitors can use the bathroom and picnic. It’s truly one of the best places to fish in Homer, Alaska

Explore the Homer Spit Trail 

Most Alaskans live an active lifestyle. During your trip, you’re sure to spot locals sporting hiking backpacks and tying up their bicycles. The Homer Spit Trail is a great place to get a taste of what the outdoors has to offer. This easy four-mile trail leads to the Homer Spit Fishing Hole. These tours are offered from June to August. For just $10, enjoy an hour of wildlife viewing like never before. Here, you can see (and sometimes hold) several species of invertebrate life!
