On this day, anglers from far and wide on The Last Frontier gather at the Homer Spit before taking their boats out on the bay. Weigh-in will take place at Deep Water Dock. If you’re interested in participating, complete the online registration to reserve your space.

It pays to love fishing in Homer — literally! In 2022, over $218,000 in cash & prizes were awarded! Last year’s first-place winner was 15-year-old Weston Marley with a fish weighing 27.38 pounds!
Not Fishing? No Problem!
This premier fishing tournament isn’t for fishermen only. The public is welcome to join anglers and tournament volunteers at Deep Water Dock on the West side of the Harbor where the weigh-in will take place. Here, guests can enjoy music, delicious food, and locally brewed beer. Come celebrate with us at one of the biggest annual Homer, Alaska, events of the year!
