Who’s Hobo Jim?
If you’re not from Alaska, you’re likely asking yourself, “Who is Hobo Jim?” He’s one of the most popular American folk singers in the state! He’s so popular, in fact, that in 1994 he was named Alaska’s official balladeer. Not only is he an amazing songwriter and singer, he’s also extremely talented at playing guitar. His talents have taken him to stages across Alaska. He mostly plays in small venues like restaurants and bars, which make his shows intimate. We’re so lucky to have him play in Homer each summer. It’s a popular way to spend a summer night in Homer among locals and visitors alike!
