Our Favorite Packing Tips for Business Travellers for all Seasons
Bring Interchangeable Clothes
Even in summertime, it can still be a little chilly here in Homer, Alaska. We recommend bringing clothes in layers vs. relying on a single heavy jacket because as you change from the colder outside into a warm but not hot building, it might be more comfortable to wear a nice sweater and a t-shirt.
You will also not wear formal clothes 24/7, so it is important to have clothes that can work for a business casual setting, are completely casual, or could serve as an undershirt or sleeping wear to maximize the space in your luggage for your trip. If you are visiting us in the dead of winter, you will be very happy to have on 3-4 layers of clothes, and if you arrive in the summer, it is great to have flexibility in your daily outfits.
