Kachemak Bay Adventure with Captain Scott

Embark on an adventure with Captain Scott, departing from Homer. Encounter the vibrant seabirds of Gull Island and keep an eye out for puffins, whales, sea lions, porpoises, and seals. Captain Scott will then navigate to Seldovia, ensuring a journey filled with amazing views and more opportunities to experience sea life. What sets Captain Scott apart from others is his extensive aquatic, avian and wildlife knowledge coupled with his understanding of the social and economic history of Kachemak Bay. Adventure & Discovery with Cindy, the Naturalist

Upon reaching Seldovia Harbor, Cindy, a professional naturalist with extensive knowledge of the local area, will join the tour. Explore Seldovia Bay, discovering natural rock arches, hidden lagoons, historic homesteader cabins, and playful sea otters. Once ashore, stroll along Seldovia’s historic boardwalk and the scenic Seldovia Slough learning the history of Seldovia and its people. Cindy’s enthusiasm is contagious and her knowledge and passion for the people, culture and history of Seldovia makes this tour an amazing experience.

Set sail on Kachemak Bay with a Scenic Return Journey to Homer

The return trip to Homer takes a different route through Eldred Passage, offering views of Hesketh, Yukon, and Cohen Islands. This route provides additional opportunities to spot sea mammals and other wildlife, making the full-day tour a comprehensive and unforgettable experience of Kachemak Bay, Seldovia Bay, and Seldovia.
